Perfume Packaging Boxes
Perfume packaging must protect glass, keep pressure away from the pump and metal parts, and deliver a premium reveal without allowing the bottle to move in transit.

Support the Bottle, Cap and Presentation
Perfume packaging should account for the bottle profile, glass weight, cap height and any accessory or literature. A fitted insert helps control movement, while the rigid outer structure provides the presentation surface for print, foil and texture.

Magnetic book-style boxes support a presentation-led reveal. Reinforced lid and base boxes are safer for heavier bottles, and drawers need controlled clearance and stops.
Magnetic presentation box
A premium opening route for lighter bottles after spine, magnet and insert review.
Reinforced lid and base
A stable two-piece structure for heavier glass bottles and stronger base support.
Controlled drawer box
A sleeve-and-tray format that needs tested clearance, stops and pull strength.
Materials, Inserts and Finishing
A fitted EVA cavity should support the base and body, clear the pump, isolate metal from glass and work with outer-carton cushioning and drop-risk review. Tactile paper, controlled foil, embossing and selective gloss can add value, but every combination should be tested on the final paper and production process.
Paper & Board
Greyboard thickness, specialty paper, coated paper and responsible paper options.
Custom Inserts
Paperboard, molded pulp, EVA, foam and fabric-covered insert systems.
Foil Stamping
Gold, silver and custom-color foil for logos and fine details.
Embossing / Debossing
Raised or recessed brand details for a tactile premium finish.
Spot UV
Gloss contrast used selectively over logos, patterns or product names.
Logo Printing
Pantone, CMYK and specialty printing aligned to approved artwork.
What to Confirm Before Sampling
These decisions shape the structure, insert, physical sample and quotation.
Bottle measurement
Measure the widest body, base, cap and full pump height using the real product.
Pump clearance
The insert must not press the pump or allow metal parts to rub against glass.
Transit protection
Review outer-carton cushioning, movement and drop risk with the complete packed set.

FAQ About Perfume Packaging Boxes
How do you protect perfume bottles and pumps?+
The main risks are broken glass, accidental spraying, leakage and scratched metal parts. A fitted EVA cavity supports the base and body, keeps the pump clear of pressure, isolates metal from glass and works with outer-carton cushioning and drop testing.
Which colors, papers and opening styles suit different industries?+
Beauty and fragrance often favor low-saturation colors, tactile papers and magnetic openings. Jewelry uses restrained foil and soft linings. Tea and food suit textured papers and lid and base or tube formats. Wine and corporate gifts typically use deeper colors, stronger board and simpler, more formal finishes.
Should an insert fit tightly or leave movement?+
Fragile glass, wine and ceramic products need a secure fit with no damaging movement, but still need a finger-access point. Soft goods can use a looser fit. Pumps, caps and moving closures always need relief so the closed box cannot press or activate them.
Which details improve the unboxing experience most?+
A clean flocked or fabric-faced insert, easy finger access, correct product depth, a clear hero-product position and a well-tuned magnetic close deliver the most value. A card pocket and fully finished inner lid help. Extra hidden mechanisms are only useful when they remain reliable at scale.
How do spot UV, reverse UV, gloss, matte and soft-touch films differ?+
Spot UV adds selective gloss, while reverse UV creates a more complex gloss-to-matte contrast. Gloss film boosts color and abrasion resistance; matte film gives a quieter appearance; soft-touch film adds a velvety feel but scratches more easily. Every film changes both appearance and downstream foil compatibility.
How is insert performance checked?+
The real product is fitted, shaken and removed several times. It should not move or strike the box, must remain easy to lift, and cannot be pressed by the closed lid. Cavities and flocked edges are checked for burrs or debris that could scratch the product.
How do you prevent crushing, scratching, moisture and deformation?+
Stack height is limited, cartons stay on pallets and dividers spread load. Finished boxes are bagged and moved in clean totes, desiccant and moisture-resistant cartons are used where needed, and packs are neither over-tight nor loose enough to move. Boxes are carried in cartons, never thrown or dragged.
PRODUCTION PLANNING
Capacity Follows the Selected Box Structure
Daily output depends on the box structure and size. Inserts, finishes and packing methods also affect capacity. Use the 8-hour-shift figures for early planning, then confirm the schedule after sample approval.
