MANUFACTURING HISTORY
Production Discipline Built Over Decades
Our factory began making packaging for dangerous goods in 1986. We added premium gift-box production in 2020. This experience guides how we choose materials, manage production and inspect finished boxes.
1986
Dangerous-goods packaging
The factory began manufacturing packaging where material control, handling and inspection could not be treated casually.
2020
Premium gift-box expansion
We applied that production experience to rigid gift boxes and presentation packaging.
TODAY
Factory-direct custom projects
We coordinate structure review, sampling and finishing with assembly, inspection and protective packing. Each step follows one production plan.
乐
The Meaning Behind LePopak
In Chinese, “Le” (乐, lè) means joy. The name reflects the spirit of our team and the way we want people to feel at work. Across the factory, our colleagues take pride in their work, smile often and bring positive energy to each shift.

“When people feel respected and happy, they do better work. A happier team makes better packaging, and better packaging brings more joy to the people who receive it.”
Zhang
CEO, Xuzhou Lepopak Packaging Co., Ltd.

PRODUCTION FLOW
From Material Picking to Dispatch
Materials and work orders move through defined areas in a controlled sequence, reducing order mixing, setup errors and late-stage quality problems.

01
Prepare and finish
Paper, board and accessories are checked against the work order before die-cutting and finishing.

02
Mount and form
Paper mounting, board conditioning, forming and corner wrapping are controlled against the approved sample.

03
Assemble and inspect
Magnets, inserts, ribbons and accessories are installed, then appearance and opening performance are checked.

04
Protect and dispatch
Finished boxes are protected, packed by batch and staged for shipment.
PRODUCTION CAPACITY
Reference Daily Capacity for an 8-Hour Shift
Use these figures for early production planning. Project-specific capacity is reviewed after the box structure and manufacturing route are defined.
Up to 8,000/day
Lid and Base Boxes
Reference output under a standard 8-hour shift.
Approx. 1,000/day
Other Box Structures
Reference output for other custom gift-box structures under a standard 8-hour shift.
Approx. 700/day
One-Piece Folding Boxes
Reference output for one-piece collapsible box production under a standard 8-hour shift.
Capacity Is Confirmed Against the Real Specification
These figures are for early planning and are not a fixed commitment for every order. Box size, materials, finishes, inserts and assembly all affect output and lead time. Quality requirements and the current production schedule also affect capacity. We confirm the final schedule after approving the structure, artwork and order details.
QUALITY CONTROL
Quality Control Before, During and After Production
Quality is controlled at fixed gates, not checked only after the boxes are finished.
01
Incoming materials
Paper is checked for grade, weight, color and surface damage; greyboard for thickness, stiffness and warp; accessories for size and function.
02
First-article approval
Before volume production, we approve the artwork, dimensions and surface finish. We also confirm how the box opens and closes, then check the inserts and corners.
03
In-process inspection
Operators and in-process quality control staff monitor every major step. These steps include printing, finishing, die-cutting, mounting, forming and fitting the inserts and accessories.
04
Finished-pack testing
Finished boxes are visually inspected, while compression and drop tests are used where the packed-product risk requires them.

VISIBLE CONTROL
Production Control Buyers Can Verify
Work Orders Stay Visible
Each order carries its own material references, process route and approved sample. Production status is tracked so delays and cross-order mixing can be addressed early.
Changes Trigger a New First Article
A change in order, paper, color or process requires line clearance and a new approval before the next batch starts.
STORAGE AND DISPATCH
Organized From Storage to Shipment
Materials, components, semi-finished goods and finished cartons are labeled and separated by order. Protective packing and finished-goods staging form the last controlled step before dispatch.

FACTORY ANSWERS
What Buyers Ask Before a Project
LePopak was established in 1986 and spent more than three decades manufacturing dangerous-goods packaging. In 2020, we expanded into premium gift-box packaging, applying that long-standing production and quality-control experience to a new category. Our own brand, Zhang Xiaochui, is named after a person and ranks among the top merchants on Taobao, a leading Chinese e-commerce platform.
We combine structural review, in-house finishing capability, flexible scheduling, process inspection, purpose-built equipment and experienced hand assembly. This lets us identify opening, fit and assembly risks before tooling and keep non-standard details under control in production.
First-article approval prevents a setup error from reaching mass production. In-process inspection catches drift in mounting, foil, glue and alignment. Final inspection checks every finished box because rigid gift packaging is judged on both appearance and opening performance.
Paper is checked for grade, weight, color and surface damage; greyboard for thickness, stiffness and warp; foil for shade; accessories for size and function; and EVA for density and contamination. Serious non-conformance is quarantined and returned, while any proposed concession requires approval.
The setup operator and IPQC approve the first article. Operators and IPQC inspect die-cut, mounted and grooved semi-finished work. Finished boxes receive line inspection and IPQC review, followed by OQC sampling before dispatch.
Foil or gloss faces are separated by neutral paper and soft bags. Very delicate matte surfaces may receive an individual inner carton before master-carton packing.
